We are 6km Northeast of Aljezur, which is near the west coast of the Algarve, Portugal.

Once you are in Aljezur -

• From the roundabout in Aljezur take the road to Marmelete/Monchique.

• Pass the Petrofer garage on your right, and go up and down a small hill.
• At the post-boxes on the left, take the left turn for "Cerca dos Pomares".
• Continue for 5.5km, then turn right at the sign for "Varzea da Goncala".
• At the bottom of the incline continue to your left until you reach the footbridge. 
• If the river is low, drive across and park where indicated. If not, park near the footbridge and continue on foot for the remaining 100 metres.
